Written by Cytracom | Aug 26, 2026, 6:46:30 PM

Across the Cytracom portfolio, our August updates focus on reducing manual work, improving reliability, and making the tools partners use every day easier to manage.

This month’s highlights include NextGen Transport, the most substantial enhancement to the ControlOne platform since its inception, mobile call parking across Android and iOS, broader Telivy Risk Prioritization, and new cyber insurance readiness tools in Tentacle.

We have also continued investing in the everyday experience across the portfolio. PSA workflows are becoming more connected, security findings are more accurate, network administration is more resilient, and reliability improvements help partners spend less time troubleshooting routine issues.

Together, these updates are designed to make it easier for TeamLogic IT partners to operate efficiently and support clients across communications, security, networking, and compliance.

/ UCaaS

Mobile Call Parking, Automated Call Documentation, and Cleaner Call Data

Mobile Call Parking

Mobile call parking is now generally available on Android and iOS, giving users a visual view of parked calls and an easy way to retrieve them directly from their phones.

Android users can also copy contact details, phone numbers, and voicemail transcripts directly to the clipboard, simplifying common mobile workflows.

Automated Call Documentation

Automatic AI-generated transcripts and call summaries are now generally available after completed calls.

Speaker names replace generic labels, and streamlined summaries make important information easier to review and use for follow-up.

Partners can also configure transcript summaries and sentiment scores from the PSA integration to post as internal notes only, helping keep sensitive call information from appearing in client-facing records.

Early Access: Expanded PSA Workflows

AI-generated call summaries and voicemail transcriptions for missed-call tickets are available in Early Access, helping teams reduce manual note-taking and create more complete service records.

A rebuilt Autotask integration is also available in Early Access, adding call pop-ups, automatic missed-call ticket creation, and a refreshed interface for managing related call activity.

Additional UCaaS Improvements

  • Call termination errors on Android now include richer diagnostic information.
  • Ring group routing now works correctly when inbound calls move across multiple ring groups.
  • Missed group calls no longer appear in call history.
  • Audio-loss alerts on Android and iOS are less likely to trigger during expected conditions such as paused audio, PIN prompts, and voicemail.
  • Additional reliability improvements address Android inbound calls, message history, SIP registration, chat display, call park status, proposal PDF downloads, and navigation between the Unity Platform and Secure portal.

Risk Prioritization for All Partners

More Actionable Risk Prioritization

Risk Prioritization is now available to all partners, providing threat rankings based on real-world exploitability so teams can focus remediation efforts on the risks that matter most.

Risk scoring now incorporates stronger signals for Known Exploited Vulnerabilities and ransomware-associated vulnerabilities, along with corrected exposure calculations and updated weighting.

Telivy has also expanded its Known Exploited Vulnerability coverage from 49 to 1,655 entries, giving partners a more complete view of vulnerabilities known to be actively exploited.

More Connected PSA Workflows

Several PSA workflow improvements reduce the manual steps between identifying a finding and managing remediation.

Configuration screens remain stable during edits, sync statuses more clearly distinguish between unsynced and failed items, and partners can perform bulk synchronization for CVE and device findings.

PSA-side ticket resolution synchronization is available in Early Access. When a ticket is resolved in the PSA platform, the associated Telivy finding can also be marked resolved automatically.

Clearer Monitoring and Reporting

The new Accounts Usage view shows active monitored endpoints and user accounts by assessment, with options to pause monitoring for selected Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts.

Complete and Legacy Reports now include a linked table of contents, making longer assessments easier to navigate.

Email security assessments have also been updated to current DMARC standards with clearer findings and remediation guidance.

Additional Telivy Improvements

  • Typosquatting results now include clearer domain, DNS, registration, and risk information.
  • CVE detection improvements reduce false positives caused by browser variants, incomplete version data, and incorrectly attributed components.
  • Alert Policy management now provides a consolidated view with filtering, bulk actions, recipient overrides, and recommended configurations.
  • Microsoft 365 findings normalization is available in Early Access.
  • Additional reliability improvements address antivirus findings, Astra (the helpful AI agent within Telivy), network-asset labeling, DNS health scans, compliance training, PSA sync status, Risk History filtering, and Security Data pagination.

/ ControlOne

NextGen Transport Doubles Throughput and Improves Edge Performance

Cytracom has doubled throughput with NextGen Transport, the most substantial enhancement to the ControlOne platform since its inception. NextGen Transport is an architectural overhaul of the bridge and cloud transport system that improves performance, throughput, and responsiveness, advancing Cytracom’s commitment to delivering secure, high-performance networking.

NextGen Transport also delivers several key enhancements across ControlOne:

  • Dynamic Routing: Automatically places users on the best available server based on current conditions, improving performance and responsiveness.
  • Local Firewall Enforcement: Enables bridges to enforce cloud firewall policies locally, keeping intra-site traffic on the LAN and drastically reducing latency for local filtering. It also provides greater flexibility for complex compliance requirements, including one-way traffic policies.
  • Instant Configuration: Applies policy changes immediately, helping partners respond faster to customer needs.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Provides more detailed site status in the ControlOne interface, including WarmSpare health and traffic by interface.

More than a firmware upgrade, NextGen Transport changes how ControlOne supports deployments at the edge. Partners can deliver secure, low-latency traffic management at customer sites, reduce support overhead associated with custom configurations, and bring sites online faster in regulated or performance-sensitive environments.

NextGen Transport is rolling out through a phased upgrade process through Q3 2026, with migrations taking place during pre-announced regional maintenance windows. Partners can review upcoming windows on Cytracom’s Maintenance Page.

DNS Resilience and Expanded Bridge Management

More Resilient DNS Routing

Multi-server DNS conditional forwarding with automatic failover is now generally available.

Partners can configure multiple DNS servers within a conditional forwarding rule so environments can continue operating when a primary DNS server becomes unavailable.

Policy-based routing can also automatically select the most current agent device, reducing the need for manual updates as device status changes.

Expanded Bridge Firewall Enforcement

Bridge firewall policies now support 5-tuple rules, port forwarding, DMZ configurations, and address groups.

These capabilities give partners more precise options for managing local and edge traffic, particularly in environments that require more granular segmentation or policy enforcement.

Clearer Bridge Administration

Bridge sites now include clearer indicators showing when configuration has been fully applied and more accurate site status information for day-to-day monitoring.

The Bridge configuration form also no longer submits changes automatically, reducing the risk of unintended updates during routine edits.

Additional ControlOne Improvements

  • Bridge email alerts now work correctly with newer Bridge configurations.
  • iOS Entra authentication has been restored for users with phishing-resistant MFA policies when running agent version 1.12.2.
  • Portal improvements address agent count accuracy, DHCP lease cleanup, deleted-object pages, unsaved-settings warnings, firewall policy naming, and directory synchronization.
  • Updated dropdowns, rename workflows, and install-link controls improve routine portal navigation and administration.

/ Tentacle

Cyber Insurance Readiness and Compliance Flexibility

Early Access: Claims and Renewal Readiness

New cyber insurance readiness capabilities are available in Early Access to help partners organize and communicate client insurance requirements more consistently.

Claims Readiness Reports provide a structured view of policy obligations, notification requirements, checklist progress, and potential claim-denial risks.

Renewal Readiness Reports provide a summary of verified evidence, missing requirements, and recommended projects to support renewal planning.

Insurance Manager Improvements

Early Access enhancements to Insurance Manager make it easier to compare client-reported information with actual findings and manage insurance requirements over time.

Updates include clearer discrepancy views, requirements grouped by category, links back to source documents, more flexible timeline navigation, breach checklist exports, and improved document analysis notifications.

Expanded Compliance Flexibility

Partners can mark attestations as “Not applicable” or “Not important” in Early Access, allowing evaluations to better reflect the client environment.

The GTIA Trustmark framework is also available in Early Access with 177 controls and mappings to related frameworks.

Application Attestations can now surface Telivy evidence and compliance synchronization details directly within Tentacle, reducing the need to open individual evidence records during reviews.

Additional Tentacle Improvements

  • CIS security signals now use updated source data to improve detection accuracy.
  • Reliability improvements address reseller company names, question-list crashes, and program profile validation for Unity Platform users.

Early Access: Help Shape What Ships Next

Several August capabilities are available through Early Access:

  • UCaaS: AI-generated PSA call summaries, voicemail transcriptions, and the rebuilt Autotask integration.
  • Telivy: PSA-side ticket resolution synchronization and normalized Microsoft 365 cloud findings.
  • Tentacle: Claims Readiness Reports, Renewal Readiness Reports, Insurance Manager enhancements, attestation flexibility, the GTIA Trustmark framework, and Application Attestations.

Early Access gives TeamLogic IT partners an opportunity to use upcoming capabilities before general availability and provide feedback as the experience is finalized.
