2026 October Cytracom Updates

Written by Cytracom | Oct 29, 2026, 7:40:56 PM

Help Customers Work Anywhere, Strengthen Security, and Stay Connected

October's Cytracom updates give TeamLogic IT franchise partners more ways to help customers stay productive, strengthen their security posture, and maintain reliable connectivity. Enhancements across UCaaS, Telivy, ControlOne, and Tentacle help partners support customers wherever they work, prioritize security risks, simplify network management, and address compliance needs.

These improvements also reinforce the value of Foundations, which helps partners deliver critical infrastructure—communications, connectivity, and security—as a unified solution. The Unity Platform connects these services through shared identity and customer records, giving partners broader visibility, simpler management, and the ability to deliver more responsive customer experiences.

Product Updates

UCaaS: Deliver a More Reliable, Connected Communications Experience

Featured Update: A Modernized Experience with Improved Stability

Customers need communications they can count on, whether employees are at their desks or on the move. Following six months of development, Cytracom's complete interface redesign has reached 100% rollout for mobile and desktop, with stability now exceeding 99% for users and sessions.

For TeamLogic IT partners, these improvements mean a more modern, dependable communications experience that helps customers stay connected and productive wherever they work.

Also Shipped

  • Desktop faxing: Users can send faxes to multiple recipients, combine up to 10 attachments into a single fax, resend failed faxes, and manage fax history directly in Cytracom Desktop.
  • Android messaging: Messages and voicemail notifications arrive in real time, with clearer indicators, accurate contact details, and improved stability.
  • iOS improvements: Siri calling is restored, voicemail supports AirPlay, and push notification handling is improved.
  • Accessibility: Improved screen reader labels make Cytracom Desktop easier to navigate.

ControlOne: Resolve Network Issues Faster With Clearer Client Visibility

Featured Update: See Network Health and Connectivity Details in Fewer Steps

ControlOne now makes important network information easier to find and interpret. A refreshed portal provides simpler navigation, clearer status indicators, and greater visibility into zones, site connections, and ControlOne Bridges.

Technicians can see how zones connect to sites, review port and connection details, and identify Bridge management and internet connection status without navigating through multiple views. Improved loading indicators also help distinguish sites retrieving status information from those reporting connectivity issues.

This means faster troubleshooting, fewer unnecessary steps, and more responsive network support.

ControlOne Keeps Getting Better: More Performance, No Extra Cost

As announced in August, Next Generation Transport brings significantly higher throughput and faster application response times to ControlOne, with partners reporting 2x the throughput or better in many cases. Customers get more performance from their existing internet connections without compromising always-on security. These improvements are rolling out automatically to existing deployments, with no new hardware, effort on your part, or additional cost.

For partners who haven't experienced ControlOne, now is a great time to explore how simple secure networking can be, with always-on protection, Zero Trust Network Access, and performance that continues to improve over time.

  • Bridge firewall self-service (Early Access): Partners can create and manage Bridge firewall rules directly in the portal, reducing the need to engage technical support for routine policy changes.
  • Faster directory synchronization: Microsoft Entra ID syncs process only the information ControlOne needs, improving performance for large directories.
  • Connection reliability: Windows devices behind a ControlOne Bridge can establish new connections while existing sessions remain active.
  • Configuration improvements: Port forwarding changes sync correctly in environments using custom firewall rules, and static route configuration includes clearer validation.
  • More accurate reporting: Device filters return results without duplicates, and pagination remains visible across browser display settings.

You can now enable this functionality directly from the “Early Access” tab on the ControlOne product page.

Telivy: Turn More Security Findings Into Actionable Client Protection

Featured Update: Prioritize Microsoft 365 Risks Alongside Other Security Findings

Helping customers strengthen their security posture starts with knowing which risks need attention and what to do next.

Telivy now brings Microsoft Secure Score recommendations into its existing security findings workflow, giving TeamLogic IT partners a more complete view of actionable risks across customer environments. Recommendations receive consistent severity ratings and categories, while items already addressed, not applicable, or detected elsewhere in the same scan are filtered out.

Rather than reviewing Microsoft 365 recommendations separately, technicians can prioritize risks and track remediation through a consistent workflow. This helps partners focus on meaningful security improvements and demonstrate progress to customers.

Also Shipped

  • Smarter security alerts: Emails group findings by client, prioritize urgent risks, and exclude resolved or accepted items.
  • Improved performance: Large scan uploads, report generation, and vulnerability lists run faster and more reliably.
  • More resilient scans: Personally identifiable information (PII) scans on resource-constrained file servers resume from their last checkpoint, helping scans complete without restarting.
  • Flexible assessment ownership: Master MSPs can reassign risk assessments individually or in bulk across agencies and users.
  • HaloPSA integration (Early Access): Partners can synchronize security tickets and resolutions between Telivy and HaloPSA, helping connect security findings with existing service management workflows.

Tentacle: Simplify Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management

Featured Update: Assess Vendor Risk Within Your Compliance Workflow

Tentacle Vendor Management is entering Early Access, giving TeamLogic IT partners a way to assess vendors and service providers directly within their compliance workflows.

By bringing vendor assessments into the same workflow as other compliance activities, partners can more easily evaluate third-party risk and support customers' ongoing compliance efforts.

Connecting Across the TeamLogic IT Community

From conversations at Owners Summit to a focused training event, this past month brought opportunities to connect, share ideas, and explore how Cytracom can help TeamLogic IT teams bring more value to their customers.

Beyond ROI: Building Lasting Customer Relationships at the TeamLogic IT Owners Summit

Cytracom was proud to sponsor this year's TeamLogic IT Owners Summit in San Diego, where Sam Chandy, Director of Partner Success, delivered a keynote exploring what truly drives long-term customer loyalty.

His message: ROI may win the deal, but return on experience (ROE) is what keeps the customer. In a market where technology solutions and service promises often look alike, MSPs can stand out by simplifying complexity, delivering a seamless customer experience, and building trust that extends well beyond the initial sale.

Beyond the keynote, the summit was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with longtime partners, welcome new franchise owners, and strengthen the relationships that make our strategic partnership with TeamLogic IT so meaningful.

We're excited to build on that momentum and continue investing in TeamLogic IT's growth and shared success.

Real-World Challenges. Collaborative Solutions. Stronger Partners.

At Cytracom, we're committed to helping TeamLogic IT franchise teams build the technical knowledge and confidence they need to support their customers.

Recently, we joined Todd Tolly's TeamLogic IT North Bay team for a collaborative ControlOne technical session as part of their ongoing Tx3 training series. Eric Romano, Head of Product for ControlOne, and Andy Katz, Senior Solutions Architect, worked directly with the team's technicians to discuss real-world challenges, answer questions, and share practical guidance for customer environments.

We'd love to bring this same collaborative approach to your team. Connect with your Cytracom representative to explore technical training tailored to your franchise's needs.
